Transmission Durability

Transmission Durability
I have a quick question regarding the durability of the automatic transmission on my 2008 HHR LT.
In previous vehicles I have encountered transmission failures at 94,000 miles (on a 1994 Ford Escort wagon) and 104,000 miles (on a 1998 Acura TL). My HHR just passed 105,000 miles, and a mechanic has told be to be watchful for problems going forward.
In your experience, is the HHR 4-speed automatic a durable transmission...and how many miles can I realistically expect to get out of it?
Thank you very much for your help!

160k on mine. No signs of any issues. GM transmissions were not the best back in the '90s and previous. Many had to be rebuilt at 100k or so. I've had a few that I had to have rebuilt. However any GMs I've owned since the early 2000s have not had any transmission issues, and usually put well over 160k on them before I'm done.

Great transmission in both of mine.
I drove my 20112lt from 11,625 to 135k before trading it away.
At 97K the reverse band broke but other than that
there have been no other problems with that one and the 2009 1lt so far.
Got it with 50k and currently at 96K.
