Trouble securely pushing starter solenoid pigtail plug back into place

Just put a new starter in it starts up great but there’s this little piece that just doesn’t clip back in. In goes in enough but I can pull it out and it doesn’t feel like it’s clipping into anything. Would appreciate any help on this

It might be the angle but, it appears the clip is broken off of the pigtail.
