Warranty Question for ChevyMgr

Were their any changes in the 100,000 mile powertrain warranty between 07 and 08? Does the warranty for 07 cover the fuel system such as injectors fuel pump etc..

It covers the pump, lines injectors, rails, any pressurized fuel system seals and gaskets as well as the throttle body, electronic throttle control module and a whole list of turbo components......5yrs./100,000 miles

The only change was the knucklehead provision. No knuckleheads are now covered.

Powertrain coverage is on all 2007-2009 Chevrolets sold new in the USA. Subsequent owners also get the coverage with no transferring of warranty needed. Retrorod speaks the truth on those items being covered.

Nice. I just wanted to confirm. I bought the extended warranty but I am thinking of canceling and getting a refund. I could use the money towards finishing my basement. The Power train warranty covers most of the expensive stuff. and I am pretty handy with a wrench so I could manage to fix the small stuff.

That must save GM millions. considering how many knuckleheads are out there.
