Water dripping inside from AC

Sorry if this has been asked and answered.

My Wife's 2006 HHR has a water drip on the passenger side when the AC is on. I have looked but can't find issue clogged drain tube. Can some one help with this? I am not much of a car guy so I'll need "special help", if you know what I mean... Pictures would be great...

Thanks in Advance

If the floor gets wet when it rains, then it is the butyl patch under the cowl. Use search button at top of of page ( close to the log out button) to look for tons of info on that problem (design change with the 08 models)

Thanks so much.. I appreciate it....

For now the Butyl Patch seems to be holding. We had a big rain just the other night and all was dry.

Thanks Again

The A/C drain is on the pass side, down low on the firewall (in engine bay).. Easier to see from under it..

I had lots of problems with the a/c condensate drain clogging up and dumping LOTS of water onto the passenger side floor. (Fortunately I have Husky floor liners, which prevented the carpet from getting soaked.) I had rodents getting into the blower box, bringing nest material. I finally made a screen out of 1/4" hardware cloth (we call it rabbit wire) under the cowl.

They have eaten all the insulation off the firewall, too.

I went to replace the engine air filter last night and found mouse meal remnants in the air filter box. I dumped all the acorn shells out, washed the urine and feces out, and fabricated a screen to fit into the inlet end (inside the fender well) of the fresh air intake tube.

I would say, 'Now let's see 'em get in', but I know better than to challenge the mice gods.
