People really should take notice of the dates on some of these threads they're quoting. HillsdaleHHR posted that back in 2006. 13 years ago.
I doubt you'll get a response from him.
Read the other responses. Some suggested checking the cabin filter.

Tara, read post #6.
most don’t know there is a cabin air filter and so it doesn’t get replaced, a new one will be an improvement in air flow.

here is a how to change it

Well, maybe my advice would be helpful. Provided that I correctly translated the term "defrosting", that is, remove the ice from the outside of the glass.
Yes, there is a distance not subject to warm blowing from both sides. In winter, I pour alcohol solution into the glass washer reservoir. I just buy medical liquid for disinfection (from 75 to 95% ethyl alcohol), dilute it a little with water so that the proportion of alcohol = 40% and pour it into the tank.
Double use. The liquid is not susceptible to freezing even at -35С and perfectly flushes road dirt (there is also road dirt in winter). And if it gets on a frozen glass, the alcohol solution dissolves the frost and ice.
My ex-wife was lazy. When all the neighbors revolved around their vehicles with scrapers in their hands, she just sat in a warm cabin and poured alcohol over the glass.

If you can afford bourbon, you will get a pleasant aroma bonus and increased traffic police attention.
