I think what he is asking is on the SS, does it have an internal drum for the parking brake or does it just clamp the pads to the disk. I don't think the SS rear disk has in internal drum.
Have had a p/u truck brakes seize - pistons - after leaving it sit for a long time. Typically I wash it first then park it.
Now, if I know the vehicle will sit for a while and the brakes are wet, I drive with the brakes on for the last bit to get them hot enough to dry off.
