ZZP flex pipe install

I bought a replacement flex pipe for my 2.4 HHR from zzp. Everything on the website says that it's meant to be welded in, however I was wondering if anyone knows whether it's possible to clamp it in instead. Welding it's beyond my capability, and I like to avoid taking cars into service shops as much as I possibly can. If I have to, I will but I'd rather not.

If you cut the pipe in the right spot you should be able to clamp it into place!

I wouldn’t clamp. Either. Take out the down pipe and have a local shop weld it in. Or, let your local shop do the whole job.
