Post your 1/8 and or quarter mile times inside here
Got back to the track Thursday, weather/work, has kept me away.
It was ugly hot & sticky. 12.7s all night, with a best of 12.71
It was so hot, early in the evening, that I could only trap, 106-107mph.
60' times were still super, 1.86-1.87 , with 3,000rpm / 10bs of boost , brake boosting at the line.
I had weather Gooroo Mike , (bigjacksauto),crunch the numbers, to compare to my last time out....
Thanks Mike...

The changes to my car this time out, were lightweight Enkei wheels on the back. for a weight saving of 10lbs per wheel/tire, over the Malibu wheel/tire combo, that I have been using. I didn't see any change on the street, when I put these wheels on the back.
Changes on the front were the lightweight Solstice rotors, for a weight savings of 7lbs, on each side. On the street, I noticed better throttle response, with the lighter rotors.
So, I got to test out these rotors at the track, & no problems at all. No problems on the street either, after 2 months of testing.
So, bummer, no improvement at the track, at all...
My front hubs will be in next week. So my next time out, I'll have the lightweight Enkei all around, saving another 8lb on each front wheel/tire, from what I'm running now.
My goal this year is a 12.49 @ 112mph , a 1.79 60', & a 3.99 0-60mph.
With drag radials, I recorded a 4.4 0-60mph last year. I haven't done any HPTuner logging this year, but
Right now , with 1.86 60' times, I should be at low 4s, 0-60mph.

Hey that is fantastic, I wouldn't be worried about times. It is frickin August... Hot muggy.
Still the only one in twelves.
You know why the hold red flag in Alaska during the summer?
Same reason we like cold air.. The planes generate more power.
You big numbers are gonna come by October.
I wish I could hot 1.8

The numbers say one thing but from all the years I have been racing I think you really are looking at a 2/10 improvement in real life in my opinion.
Did not like the air you ran in.

Maybe I am wrong but unless the track had tons of vht down Cecil county is a.really good
Track them you should have spun and the traction control should have vut power.
what date time did you run
What was exact et and mph
How much boost was the gauge showing
This is a manual transmission right?
Bkm0607-I could be wrong...but 14.4 is pretty quick with only superchips. you could be in the 13's with a little bit of work. like catless downpipe and engine mount..4/10ths is not that much...I made up almost 8/10ths with new tires(not slicks or anything) on the 1/8th mile track near me
