I’m fixing to replace the fuel pressure and vapour lines, most likely tomorrow
They aren’t as expensive as detailed, my GM dealer quoted almost $700.00 CDN for both lines, plus $450 labour. I ordered a set

I’ll try to remember to take pictures !

my bill was 740.00 US. GM parts, non GM mechanic. Both the feed and evap line were replaced.

smell gone. car-b-que worries are gone.

Installed LED headlight bulbs and new brakes over the weekend. Will maybe post in a seperate thread about the bulbs but they are FANTASTIC. Great hotspot, no glare, havent gotten flashed once, and unlike alot of LED bulbs, these actually throw light at a distance and the high beams actually function like high beams. Now I need to address my Caliper pin boots in the very near future. They have lost their spring in the past 225000 miles and one has a tear!

Installed these floor mats in the panel today. Perfect fit. They come with a carpeted finish and a rubberized finish. $86+. They have a nice deep center that should hold slop and water like the weather Techs. Do not have the tread/grooves in it like the WTs. Purchased on ebay

Smelled a wiff of gas while rotating the tires last week. Sure enough, fuel line rusted prety good in the usual spot near the driver's side rear tire.

Ordered this kit http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVY-HHR-FU...%257Ciid%253A1 last week and installed it today.
Pretty easy to install, I had my doubts. Replaces both lines with nylon from the quick connects at the tank, to about halfway up the car. Connects to the steel lines with compression fittings.
It was amazing how badly the rusted lines crumbled away while taking them out. Pretty scary.

We went for a cruise, Saturday and Sunday a total of 275 miles, fuel mileage is improved 33.7 mpg on the DIC , must be the new fuel lines, but I don’t recall seeing any puddles with rainbows, just the smell of raw fuel.
The fuel lines were toasty all the way from front to back.
