2009 HHR Gatlinburg Get-2-Gether

Hi Tim and all!! I just had an idea that could help eliminate some confusion for this event. How about we all bring frs radios (available at any Walmart or sporting good store) and have them tuned to say channel 2 code 4 (as in 2.4). That way as people arrive we can all have a common methode to find out what is happening where and if anyone needs help, we will all know. Just a thaught.

Tim, I plan on getting up there also. I live in the area, so I will just stay at my house. Please let us know when you get some times nailed down. I plan on doing the go karts Friday, and definitely would like to attend all of the events on Saturday. Including the Dixie Stampede if that is still a go. It will be me, and my son. My sister may bring her HHR up also.

COUNTDOWN TO FRIDAY ...
I tried to locate a self-serve car wash somewhere central in Gatlinburg as our initial meeting place so we could get "cleaned up." Unfortunately, there isn't one "central" to the area, although there are two in the Gatlinburg area.
So, we will have our initial meet-up at Mynatt Park, 634 Asbury Lane. This is just off Historic Nature Trail. This will give us the opportunity to meet, make some decisions about our evening plans, and move on from there.
I should be in Gatlinburg by noon local time, so should be at the park by 1 p.m.

I plan on definitely meeting up Saturday morning. Are we still meeting at Mynatt Park Saturday also? My son has a school dance on Friday, so I wonn't be able to meet then. My sister plans on going Saturday also. She has a sunburst orange HHR.
