That's nothing. We had from Sunday night to get to South Dakota by Tuesday for my brothers funeral.

Here's a map of that from mapquest: Total Time: 16.0 hours 5 minutes - Total Distance: 1039.40 miles

It took a little longer than it said ( about 19 hours), had to stop and get some sleep in the van.

So you can do it.

Man that really sucked . Still hurts to this very day, and it's been 2 years.

I live 5 miles from the race track and I never leave the house on both big races. I go to Gatlinburg several times a year, (Outlets for the wife), and it's always a blast. Just never try to get a taxi ride to your hotel if you've had too many cold ones. We had to wait 2 hours for one. I will be going back down in July for a Splash Country- Aquarium trip with the family.

They are a nice bunch,, met some of them last yr in Chatanooga.
Thanks Karen. I emailed them and hopefully we can drum up alot of attendees for this meet. Looks like we already have a good start And with this meet being set for a year from now really allows people to plan for it.

Hi Dayton, Thx for the invite!

We would love to include this in our 2009 planning.

Our HHR car Club is mostly located in the Gallatin and Nashville area.
We have been together since the fall of 2006.
We have 25 cars and about 50 folks in the club.
Of course not all attend all events, (Frown)

Last weekend we had a road trip to Shiloh Tn, and I pushed
the event images from our site on all of the HHR forums
I could get to. They are in the Southeast region section...

Or site has an events page and we have had several BIGG annual
events, including the Biltmore in NC, And Chatnooga in TN.

We are kinda planning on a trip this year to Savanah, GA, but that
may be a little to far for a weekend trip.

Feel free to contact me anytime at admin at midtnhhr dot net
Our site is located at "www dot midtnhhr dot net"
