Been there for the Christmas show. Hillsdale is right. The food is awesome and the entertainment is second to none for the money.

This is what I've heard from others. I'll make the contact and see what their set-ups are for groups, numbers, prices and such. Will most post more info soon. I think it sounds like a winner ... but let's get the dollars and cents so people have an idea of what this entails.

OK, first contact made. The date is tentatively available (April 25, 2009). They are sending me a packet of information, and will follow-up with me by phone. They will also provide me with a date that we will need to finalize a reservation, so we have time to decide yes or no on this location.

We should also get an idea of how many people would be interested in sharing a cabin, and how many prefer hotel/motel room. Depending on the number of us going, we could really do both. Again, early reservations are a necessity for Gatlinburg as it is a very popular destination for groups. Let us know what your preference would be and we can start getting rates and information now.

Chris and I are up for either but the cabin sounds like a lot of fun. We also don't mind sharing a room if someone is looking to save some $$$. A couple of us are doing this for the C.P. Meet and getting a nicer hotel room.

Everything is open for now, but early spring was mentioned to beat the crowds and save some $$$. Dates are always the hardest decision and there are always some people that won't be able to attend because of them Hopefully with over a year in advance notice people will be able to work out whatever is decided.
