ugh, I've just been informed that the whitewalls on my tires are wearing out. I think I'll hang onto them as long as they're not flapping in the wind.

sorry, just off-topic whining...but it does fit the category of "almost 5 years old and this crops up."

Angry Airritating buzz @ 60+MPH

Yesterday first chance to drive at highway speeds since before getting the windshield replaced. Now at 60+mph, there's this buzz coming from the windshield/dash area that sounds like electrical ignition noise coming from a speaker. Problem is no speaker on the dash.

I'm guessing the noise is coming somewhere under the windshield cowling... this is loud enough to where it is @#$%@#$% annoying

Update: I think I found the problem - middle section of the cowling was loose and vibrating against the glass. Pushed down in that area and felt something snap on (like a button?)

GRUMPEE-

That sounds like it could have been the problem..

When they replaced my windshield, later it I noticed both ends of the windshield cowling were not properly connected to the door seals/rain gutters.
Easy for me to fix. But #@!*%

But seems good help is hard to find somertimes..

mitzkity-

Bummer about yer white walls, are they the "porta-walls" ?
