Dale you have my number also.... I'll try and call you no matter what... I know parts of I-5 above Santa Nella there is no Verizon service... But we can give it a shot if it don't work..... SO BE IT....

 

That brings up an interesting note. There is hardly any cell service at all along the Run route. We normally take FRS radios to be able to talk between the cars. So far no one has ever needed a wrecker or AAA on any of my runs so we hope that trend continues. A few radios scattered through the ranks will be good just in case anyone has trouble. We have two. Anybody else have them?

 

I'll bring my radios with me. I think we will be a caravan of three.

Leave Kingsburg at 6 or 6:30am.
West on Hwy 198 thru Lemoore and Coalinga to Hwy 101
North on Hwy 101 to Greenfield (just south of Salinas/Soledad)
West on Monterey County G16 to Carmel to look for the HHR's - lunch at Gumps...
At 1pm or so the HHR's will head south on Hwy 1...
I plan to caravan with the group back to San Simeon where they are planning dinner at the Pacific Blue Bar & Grill, 7:30PM...

Heading back to Kingsburg after that...
