Sleeper....Do you need to take the engine apart and brush this on or can it just be applied to the outside of the block?

Yes it is generally used internally to make oil slide like off a ducks back, & seal porous castings..

Might work externally, although I have only used it in Old Harley motor cases,
tranny cases & in hopped up V-8 chevys I built...
