Hello Forum Experts,

My truck has been stalling and was fixed by my mechanic but it has happened again. I put some old gas in the truck so I am hoping that is the issue and I can siphon it off and start over with fresh gas. If that’s not the issue it may be the belt? Not sure- any advice is welcome!

If any details were supplied there is a possibility we could help.
What did the mechanic do, how long did it last, why did he do it. Is the CheckEngineLight on? Stalls under what circumstances? Among the types of detail.

 

Belt. No.
The only belt on a HHR is the serpentine (fan) belt.
As Don said, need some details.

 

Welcome to the site, let’s start with the bad gas…. You won’t be able to get a hose into the fuel tank, so you’ll have to possibly disconnect the pressure line at the fuel rail and pump into a Jerry can.
