When did the Moog name get sold, again? Didn't it used to belong to United Technologies?

Just bolsters my point; Moog prints boxes for Cheap Chinese products, just like everybody else.

You’d love Facebook. Typical conversation:

”What kind of brake pads should I get?”

”Napa.”

”O’Reilly.”

Now, if that happened here, the misinformation would get corrected in a straitforward way, nothing personal. But on FB, to point out someone’s error makes you some kind of jerk. As a result, questions often result in more bad advice than good.

Makes me really appreciate this forum.

I got the 724 today from GM Parts Direct. So they're out there right now if you look.

You may have noticed my responses to "what brand" questions is usually "the brand my granddad used is best (sarcasm)".

PulpFiction , So your saying by advising members what brands work best, fit properly, last longer, that we are being jerks? How is it that by helping folks we are not good people, shouldn’t speak up, about LCA’s for the SS for instance! Please clarify your statement

Thanks RJ, that’s what I thought, but are folks on FB really like that? Why would they think a statement as to what works, what lasts based on years of experience? I know not everyone likes Dexcool for instance, or likes the price of a 131-158 thermostat, wants to have alignment problems because they went cheap and installed stamped steel LCA’s, or spend money replacing what the code said it was and not just check a loose wire or fuse.
I guess that’s why I have been here and not on FB .
