Worst case, you have 2 new FE5 ball joints. You can grind one off a new 725 on put it on your old 724 if it comes to that.

Woke up to the email that the 724 is back in stock, just finished my order. The 725 showed up a few days ago.

I wonder where these are all coming from? Sounds like GM doesn't have any so .... New old stock? Or they got one and are out of stock now (as they show.) i have a 724 coming from a dealership. I'm curious where the ship point is. I paid about $15 more than Rockauto.

You got up earlier than me, they were out by then!

I think Terry might be right, they get 1 at a time.

I looked at the box really good, trying to glean any information from it. But all it had was the FedEx label, I think it came from Memphis? I'll take a picture of this next one.

My Rockauto 725 came from GM Customer Care and After Sales in Memphis. "A division of General Motors that supplies replacement parts and automotive services through GM’s network of dealers and other partners in over 100 countries around the world." I am wondering if this is the place GM sends all excess parts after production and support ceases. I'll ask my buddy at GM. Why they are trickling in is a mystery. It could very well be NOS GM is pulling back in from dealers and then Rockauto sees the inventory.

My dealership 724 is still in transit from Tampa.

These LCA’s and SS shifter cables and cv axles are drying up in the parts pool! But the SS is 11 years out of production! Sad

Maybe Memphis is one of a few(or many?) Locations that every dealer, auto parts store, etc, drop ships from.

And now they're back again

In theory, I just got the 25930724 I was waiting for. Now to hope it ships.

Oops, guess they only had one as they're out again.
