I beginning to think so. I think all of these sites selling parts (GM Parts Giant, GM Parts Direct, etc.) are dealer associated websites just drop shipping out of the GM warehouses. Then we have the dealers selling directly like Stingray Chevrolet in Florida. That's where my 724 is coming from. It's all a mythical black hole of parts! :)

But it's no fun when a site will take an order and then cancel it a day later. (Dang it, and I was sooooo close!)

 

Well, got a shipping notice this morning so hopefully it will show up.

My 724 is supposed to be here on Thursday. FedEx tracking says it's coming from Rochester, NY.

 

To add to the weirdness. My 724 order went to Stingray Chevrolet in FL on 6/23, but an order was placed on GM SPO in Charlottesville, NC from Stringray. GM SPO shipped it to Stringray in Fl who sent it to me. So ... GM has these parts. I got it today. All in 5 days.

 

Well, my last one finally showed up from Rock Auto today so I'm now set for LCA's.

I just grabbed a set this morning; 724 is shipping from Norcross, GA and 725 is shipping from Fullerton, CA.

I will stash them away for future use.

 

724 arrived yesterday. Looks good.

Is everyone measuring the ball joint shank to make sure it’s 20.5 mm?

 

I want to, but I don't have a good caliper. I think a trip to Harbor Freight is in order.
