Ok, thanks for the insight. I just needed to know, so when I advise which whatever to use in an HHR , I won’t be deemed a jerk!
I only know what I know, by experience, and input of the members here in the site.

Yeah, I got my 725 from Rockauto and 724 from GM Parts Direct. About the same prices. They'll go in my future spare parts bin. So far my bushings and ball joints are fine.

I noticed the Rockauto price with tax and shipping was close to the GMPD price with they're unnaturally high shipping costs and no tax (for me.) I went ahead and got my 724 from GMPD.

Do you have the part number for the clutch pedal return spring?

Sadly GM Parts Direct canceled the order claiming NLA, luckily it was just for a spare. Hopefully one turns up again.

To be clear, I haven't gotten my 724 from GMPD yet and it wouldn't shock me if they cancelled my order too.

You’re very welcome! My Dad taught me that if a job is worth doing , it’s worth doing it right, the first time!
Just the other day, a friend asked me to have a look at his 4 year old GMC pickup, the battery was showing only 10.8 volts, static. He had called for roadside assistance, that guy simply used a juice box and jumped it to start. I asked if he recommended replacing the battery, he said no, just drive it.
We took the battery out and had it load tested, 2 dead cells, my neighbour bought a new battery, problem solved!
