CEL P0299 Turbocharger Underboost?????

it's almost like you need to bring your own mechanic with you to make sure the dealer did the work correctly

Mine gave me the same code and had a loss of boost. Mine was a hard fault. I jacked the car up and was looking at the actuator. I reached up to cycle the actuator rod and felt a slight pop. I'm assuming the bypass was stuck open since this restored the boost. I've played with the adjustment a little without seeing any obvious change in the boost, but have never had the issue again.

well i have the trifecta tune...and in stock mode i can boost all day with no issues...and in tuned mode it sets an overboost code....mine is def a rod adjustment...i messed with it for a while...when i first got the tune in either mode i was boosting well over 24psi...previous owner tried to get some extra boost out of it....but the learn down didnt allow him to see the extra boost...now im at 16psi in stock...and it overboosts in tuned mode at around 23psi
