If only it was that simple.
needs 50-80% full, no refill event this cold to hot cycle, sit for 7 hours. Or, 20 cold start to hot cycles. No other codes active. I think there is also a temperature requirement.
Cold means cold (ambient) not warm. Hot means driven for 10-15 miles. Yes, it does know when you added fuel to the tank.
Some states let 3 not ready pass.

The reason I asked about reset is that if the computers are "cleared" or rebooted by disconnecting the battery all of the OBD2 tests have to run.
Seems we are just talking amongst ourselves.
