Front hub/bearing tolerances

The hubs were installed at separate times, the left one (the one that's hitting) later. Basically I had the right side done when I put the snows on, the left side done when I had the summer wheels put on. I can only guess that the second hub was defective, or built to sloppier tolerances, or somehow damaged in installation. I'd have a hell of a job proving that now though.
I put spacers on yesterday and got the snows back on. Driving fine for now. Thinking maybe I'll take another look at the hubs in the spring. I don't have a driveway, and my options for borrowed space to work on the car myself are limited.

Didn't know he was running his snows on 17's. With those there was probably very little clearance and no room for error or loose hubs.

Oldblue, I've actually been up in Welland a bit this last year, so I may catch up with you yet.
