Front Shock or strut?

My front passenger strut blew when I hit a pothole at 50MPH. I didn't realize it blew ntil investigatin the traction control/stability control light coming on under normal driving conditions.

I brought it into the dealer and they identified and replaced under warranty without issue.

I can recommend Good Chevrolet in Renton, WA. Also, they will provide a rental for free if you ask.

Mine starting making the same noise on the drivers side front at 48,000 miles. I have a new sway bar link sitting on my work bench hoping that will make it go away. G.B.

Sounds like you need a new dealer too. That's covered under warranty. I had my front struts replaced for clunking (leaking). Also had the sway bar links and steering column for clunking too. Not much left to replace now!
