Inlet on valve cover removal

Hello i am working on replacing my head and cannot figure out how to remove the hose in the picture below. I didn't want to force it and my quick connect tool will not fit. Any advice appreciated.

On the plus side the head is extremely clean with no sludge buildup. Given the odometer is 160k I am very pleased. See picture 2.

Have a great HHR day!

Removing metal hose with orange line is the question

160k.

You can get it loose from the turbo, but I'm not aware of anyone who has removed it from the head without destroying it.

I've replaced it with 11/32 PCV hose and some clamps. Or you can try to find a new one.
