Awesome. The tech who did the work on my car today actually took like 20 pics during his install. Very pleased with how he cut out the butt connectors on my lower sensor when installing the new one. He even heat shrinked and loomed it. Now I need to check my top sensor and I am sure it is in the same crappy shape so I'll go ahead and plan on soldering it up too and redoing it.

...and I totally understand what you mean by "trusting" your car. lol. Especially when it's boosted.

If you don't know how to cut, solder and shrink you should pay someone. I don't know what other guidance there is to give.

A break down of how to find and turn the lower imap sensor would be a good start

If you mean "tmap sensor" - grab the Search tool at the top of the page and look for "solder sensor" and you will find pics and procedure.

That topic has been discussed many times on this forum. There is no "How to" because there was never one exact fix. Owners came up with different variations of how to fix the GMTU sensor problems.

As stated above, try a Search for more info. Lord knows I have a ton of posts related to it. AND I'm not going to rehash all that stuff over again.

So I checked out the how to and that's going to be to hard to get to. I don't have the time it experience to take care of that. If anyone knows of a good mechanic in denver please let me know

Nope, no good mechanics in Denver. They all retired to Florida.

The finally did a smoke test in my air intake. It ended up being a crack in the pipe coming from the charge air cooler. So they had to replace the charge air cooler.
