Its more like a slight misfire every now and then but without a CEL code. It happened with or without the AC turned on. I only noticed it when at a stop.

Just a thought, check for water and or debris in the spark plug wells, inspect the coils ensure they’re not dry or the rubber boots are cracked. Apply dielectric grease .

Hi, I checked earlier today and unable to find any issue. I am still leaning towards replacing the coils in in the near future anyway just to complete the tune up. Thanks.

The coils aren’t really a tuneup item , just spark plugs at 100,000 miles.

Hi, just to follow up. I did try the Techron cleaner and it went away for a while but now the issue is back. To answer your question yes it appears that when the AC is on I don't notice any random misfire. It idles fine when the AC is on. I say "misfire" because it sounds and feels exactly like that but with no CEL code. I will post a short video assuming I am allowed to do so.

FIXED! So I decided to buy a bottle of Marvel Mystery Oil. Used the recommended amount on two gas refills. On the first one I was mostly doing in town driving and the miss was still noticeable. On the second refill I decided to do some long distance highway driving (about 50 miles non stop). That's when it really cleaned the engine. Not only has the engine shake gone but it performs better and gas mileage has also improved. I think I would have gotten the same result with the Techron but I never drove it on the highway for long. My SS is back!!! Thanks for all your help.

Glad you got it fixed! To confirm, you ran the Marvel thru the fuel tank, right?

Yes sir! I bought a bottle and poured the recommended amount into the gas tank before refilling with premium gas. I have now done it twice and I am very pleased with the result so far. I plan to keep using it a few more refills.
