Actually, counting the gaps between the cogs(23) on the gear, it looks like about 4:30. The mark on the balance shaft crank gear lines up with a cog(1st), the mark on the timing crank gear is the 4th cog.

Edit: the cog(1st) is on the cam timing gear on the crank

The Cam actuators I bought at Napa Auto Parts , They didn't fit . When I torqued them down the inside of the actuator hit the engine case where the cam is mounted to . The depth of the hole where the cam fits into the actuator(where the pin is) was machined too deep making it hit the case . The second issue that I hopefully resolved was when I removed the Napa Actuators the timing marks were a half turn from the 10 and 2 o'clock position and didn't realize it until I installed the new actuators , the crank was at TDC so I installed the timing chain and turned the crank 1 full rotation and the actuator timing marks are in 10 and 2 postion along with crank TDC now. Then i removed all of the chains and lined up all of the timing marks again.I guess 360 degree rotation of the crank turns the cams only 180 degree .

Is it safe to say if the crank is TDC and the actuator sprockets are at 10 and 2 o'clock I have it back together correct ?

There are links I posted for you to confirm the timing marks

The short answer is: You line the chain up on the cams, then turn the crank to line up to the chain.

Thanks guy's I understand the procedure with lining up the timing marks , if you read my #83 post I ran into a problem with new Actuators that didn't fit and somehow when I installed the new replacement actuators the marks did't line up. They were 180 degree's off on both sides , I installed the chain and turned the crank 360 degrees and the actuator marks landed on 10 and 2 o'clock with crank at TDC . Could I have messed something up or is it safe to say as long as the timing marks are 10 and 2 o'clock and crank at TDC everything is where it should be ?

Yes all lined up, did you turn the crank while the chain was removed??

I did not turn the crank while the chain was removed .
Crank was TDC when I removed the defective new actuators
Replaced new actuators and noticed marks were approx 4 and 8 o'clock ?
Installed chain and turned crank 360 degrees
Actuator marks turned to 10 and 2 o'clock and crank is TDC

And where are the cam sprocket marks? 2 for the intake side and 10 for the exhaust?
