The tire runs narrow, I would go wider, but lots of guy's have done the 225 and loved them.
Take a copy of that price to discount tire, and they will beat it, and mount you up. Don't forget we are getting to the end of our expected battery life on the tire sensors....best I could get them to do was 140.00 for 4 new ones.

Where did you find that price? I am thinking of going with a local tire place that I trust and they are going to charge me $705 out the door for the larger GMax 245/40/18 for my SS. That includes balancing and alignment.

The $140.11 price was at Tirebuyer.com, but discovered that unless you use one of their installers, you get hit up for both delivery AND state sales tax.
After juggling all the factors, I ordered from Amazon @ $155/ea because of no freight (I have Amazon Prime) and no state sales tax. That still leaves me with installation fees, but what cha gonna do? Even Wal-Mart was cheaper than your quote, and NTB wanted $166/ea installed. Both of those prices subject to state sales tax. Pick your poison.
My tires arrived yesterday.
