Can the Tire Pressure Monitor be disabled (Temporarily)

Now that is getting colder and snow could happen at any time I have put my Winter tires on. Unfortunately they do not have the pressure sensors in the wheels so my TPM Warning light goes off and annoyingly beeps at me. Is there an easy way to temporarily turn that off until I put my regular tires back on in the spring?

Nope is the simplest answer to your question. The bonging should stop once the engine is running, but the light always will be illuminated so folks just cover it with a piece of tape.

Well crap. It chimes when I first turn on my car and then a little down the road the dash tells me that the tire monitoring system needs service. I have to hit the info button twice everytime I drive.
