Big brake fittment...sad Cragar/HHR pictures
[QUOTE=djbigal;402636]After searching and searching for either a Euromax 612, Eagle Alloy 120, and waiting for the Cragar 600 to be released, finally I was one of the first to purchase for my 2008 HHR SS black. These are 17's and fit properly with no adapters. If you need additional info on tire size or type of lugnuts to purchase with them, contact me.
You don't really say, but I infer that you got the 600's.
Can you tell me if they fit over the big (Brembo) brake package?
Where did you get them, and how much? I'd be interested in the unfinished ones, and may powdercoat the rim portion red (for a black SS).

Garage fire wiped out my motorhead life. Just starting to get it back together w/an HHR SS. Thanks for any info on rims that will fit it's performance package brakes (I think the gunmetal cragars or euromax 612s look good). Price, availability and snow tire suggestions for the 17x7's...

Cragar Rims
I didn't read all the posts in this thread, so forgive me if this has been covered already.
Here's the deal with the 5X110mm bolt pattern and the Cragar/SS. The majority of the 5 spoke Cragar/SS wheels are a "unilug" bolt pattern, meaning the wholes the wheel studs pass through are oval. They're designed to accept 5X4.5", 5X4.75" and 5X5" bolt patterns. The 5X110mm bolt pattern is equal to 5X4.33" and therefore is less than 5X4.5".
They used to make a dedicated 5X4" for the A body Chrysler products, but that's too small. This bolt pattern falls between anything they've ever made the SS wheel to fit.
I know Cragar will do custom offsets, but I seriously doubt they would custom drill a special bolt pattern.
Sorry

I would love to find a set of 5 spoke American Mags.
These are nice but not quite 'old school' enough :)
