Does anyone use these tires?

I have Bridgestone Blizzaks for the winter, so snow performance is not an issue. The factory Firestones wore out last fall so I need new tires.

The General Exclaim UHPs have pretty good ratings and they are available from the tire rack for $76 each (in 215/55R16). I realize their tread life will be shorter than tires like the Goodyear Triple Tread, but I need to minimize cash layout right now. The Goodyears are $122 each.

I have them and like them on my SS. You may want to consider the General Altimax though... they will have longer treadwear and should be about the same price. We have those on our Freestyle and I am happy with them too.

 

just picked up these General Exclaim UHP 225/45/18 for my SS. 101.00 apiece and 38$ shipping from discount tires direct.

 

We currently have the same Generals in a 225 x 45 x 18 on our HHR and couldn't be happier! The only issue you might want to consider is if it is an excellent all season tire? We live in Northern California so we don't see bad winter weather as much as the other states in the U.S. .....

I've been running these on my wife's Monte for 3 yrs. These wear great, are quiet and handle wet roads nicely. But, the only white stuff I have to deal with are egrets.....
