I will experiment with the chrome but I am not much of a chrome guy. My 11 Corvette came with chrome wheels when I purchased it a couple of years ago and I could not get them off it fast enough. Put painted stocks back on it. Just too old for the bling I guess.

Lucky you. For my 18" rims on the SS I was over $950. Great tire, I hope I get more than 22K but it will be hard to tell, I'm running snows 1/2 the year.
35 PSI for me and the centers seem to be wearing slightly faster. Could be the constant putting it to the firewall thing...

Isn't that the truth! Our's has no chrome on the exterior .....

Although these factory wheels are the other version you can get what I'm talking about, site member Buckster HHR Panel for reference.....

Nice. Very classic. Thats the wheels I just took off. Maybe I will keep them for experiments. Liking the running boards. Thats one of the additions that is on my list.

I'm gonna get these tires in a few weeks for my 08 SS. I'm gonna run 235/45/18 I was told this size won't be a problem for the SS stock rim. Is this correct?
