Unfortunately, I have no pictures since that was done at our previous home at least 10 years ago. The pipe was already threaded on both ends. I believe I used 3/4" pipe though it might have been 1/2". It was all done with over the counter, ready to use stuff from ACE hardware.

Too bad u don't have a pick I would have liked to see them. But thanks for sharing how to get it done over the counter. If I had to do it all over again I would visit ace and buy what u r decribing here. Good info for anyone considering doing a simallar project on there own
