new shoes for the little truck

I just got a new set of tires for my baby. I got BFG Advantage T/A's 215/50-17. They ride much better than the OEM's. Hope they continue to please.

I think you'll be quite happy with your decision, the OEM tires on the HHR barely qualify as tires other than the roundness(sort of), and blackness.

I had BFG's on my last S-10, fine tires..

I'm doing some looking at new shoes for my lil truck too.. These Flintstones are gonna have to go, I still have decent tread. They ain't working for me..

& I do plan to plus size em.. How much still remains the unknown variable..Also a stickier compound, would be a plus. Right now my tires are the weak link..

My Firestones were very brown, never could get them BLACK! Low carbon amount I think.... No problem, they are long gone now. (I plus sized too.... )

Yeah the Firehawks on the 2011 are black once you hit them with tire dressing, but after a few days they do look a bit brownish. Not that it makes a ton of difference either way since they are going bye bye this week in favor of some Continental's.
