I have 265/35ZR18 on 8.5" rims on the front with goldline lowering springs for about 2 yrs with NO problems. (they don't stick out, they absolutely don't rub and as long as I have had them it hasn't snowed)

If it does, we got bigger problems than tires...

I've been running larger rear tires almost since I bought the car which is an 07LS purchased new. 215/50/17 front 235/50/17 rear. No codes. No problems.

Red face Additional Info.(?)

Not a tire/wheel guru here. I've got an '09 2LT panel with the Chrome Tech cast alum. wheels in the Firestone 215-50-17 tires. I don't know the rim width but what is the largest tire I could put on this rim (rears only) for a wider/taller footprint . Don't want any interference issues either. Does Firestone make a wider tire. I thank all in advance for any info.
