Try Discount Tire or the Tire Rack, both can do up a nice package deal on rims and tires.

Bumping an old thread... I just put General G-Max(es) on last night (think that's the correct plural form). They are very nice and quiet. The stock Michelins went 64K and were on the wear bars, so they were real loud. Discount Tire offered to sipe them to make them quieter, but I'm not going to do that. At some future point, I will report on how they do in foul weather and such.

They did great it the wet and the snow and ice, they dont need to be sipped. Try dialing them down a few pounds, I run 30 cold, super smooth kills all the rattles.

I need to do that. They set them at 35 all around apparently.

I also need to make sure that all the sensors are in the right spots (RF really is RF...). I suspect they just put them wherever, but I wasn't really watching.

Just put the G-max on my SS also but not sure I'm going to keep them.
Nice and quiet, grip good but they are out of round or something.
The sterring wheel shakes good at 65mph when you take your hand off the wheel. Just to make sure it was the tires I swaped out the fronts with the snows for the G6 and it went away.

If you just got them, take them back, and have them checked. I had one that was out of balance pretty bad one time because the bead wasn't seated all the way. It kind of popped on me as I was leaving the tire shop, and was pretty awful on the highway. They fixed it for free in minutes, though.

I touched triple digits with mine last night, so I don't think I have that issue...
