Mike I couldn't agree more it is TOO early for cold weather, it can go back north where it came from any time now. Now that I am older I can't handle the cold now.

Oldblue I hope all goes well for your wife, they can do so much today. A good friend of mine is a survivor of pancreatic cancer. His markers are normal now.

Time to start planning my fall York trip, seven buildings full of toy trains. I know I am nuts but it is so much fun.

Cool! The pic and the 52 degrees!!

Today I drove up to Hamilton to see my girl, but got turned back by her as she is in isolation due to an infection, so she asked me to please go back home and watch the NASCAR race!
I had a bit of a pull to the left with my winter rims on, so I switched the L and R front tires, took a quick test drive and the pull is gone, I'm at 199,686 miles, so a pic of that mile stone later this week!

Sorry to hear your Sweetie is in isolation Oldblue, but the 88 and 24 had good runs and advanced into the Contender Round of the Chase. And along with something nice from the 88, there will also be something coming for her from the 24, and my friends at SHR including something from Sunday's winner in the 4.

You're both in our thoughts and prayers, as are all the folks just to our South in and around Charleston and all of South Carolina.

I watched the race nice to see Junebug pull thru and qualify for Helen! She is in isolation still today and maybe tomorrow, but we'll see.
I took her Sunfire GT for its first run since May 18th, started right up and ran great !
Oldblue sat in the driveway looking a little sad, yet relieved, he's been run hard and put away wet to many times in the past 2 or 3 weeks!

Hey all, just had to go back several pages to see what I've missed. A Lot! Thoughts and prayers go out to you and Sweetie, Ol Blue. I'm sure her determined attitude will get her through anything!

As for me, we had a hospital stay of our own last week. Long story short, my 9 yr old daughter was diagnosed with strep and treated with amoxicillin. After about 6 days she developed a rash on her hands and feet, the next morning it was literally head to toe with this rash. After a visit to the local hospital they couldn't diagnose the problem. They were worried it was Steven-Johnson disease(which if your a worried parent with Google, that is not something you want to hear or read about, absolutely the most scared I've ever been!!!) We were transferred to a Childrens hospital near Cleveland. We were relieved when she tested positive for Mono, apparently Mono and amoxicillin create this rash when combined. She is doing much better at home.

And for my did, so much was going on last week I didn't to get post on our new ride. Bought an 07 LT, 150k, Sunburst Orange. Got it for a steal because I jumped time and bent 3 intake valves. Ripped out the motor in record time about 8 hours(left the trans behind in this one) broke down the cylinder head and began digging whats left of the chain guides out of the oil pan and pickup.

Hope she gets better soon
