The turn signal

Is a request not an entitlement!!

Going down the road and someone turns on their signal for ONE FLASH and starts coming over. Damn near took off my right front fender. AAARRRGGGHHH!

I'll pass at least one accident every day and see one car side swipped another. I bet 9 out of 10 times it's due to the use (or non use) of turn signals. What real nice is when they do it across 4 lanes all at once.

I think its law near me to not use them, although you are permitted to use the opposite one.

I don't know about your state, but up here in NY State we have a law that permits "right on red". New Yorkers just forgot the part "after stop".
