HID high beam problem

I have the high/low kit from DDM tuning. The low beams work great but when I turn on the high beams, I see a change of light but it isn't lighting up the road that much over the low beams. The OEM lighting was better. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Do you have a kit number? I can only seem to find a hi/low kit on their site for motorcycles.

most likely the high beams are a small LED or regular halogen bulb. The true low/high beam HID kits are very expensive..so depending on how much you paid will tell you what you have. I have the less costing kit (not from DDM) and the highbeam is like i described above.

My HID kit has a single bulb, but has the cut-off shield that drops for hi-beam. When I hit the dimmer for hi-beam, it looks like a freakin' UFO is lighting my way.....bwaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.

My ford escape has the same hi/low kit and doesn't have this problem. Maybe the headlight housing is too small to allow the HIDs to really use the high beams.

Update, I had to turn one of the bulbs around to get it to work the right way. Now they are lighting up the nights sky.
