Hard pipes won't give me a horsepower increase...
Would you recommend waiting a few years until the warrenty is out? I've got 3 years left on the Powertrain, 1 year on the bumper. 15K total miles. I don't race and I don't have money to burn. But I do like passing power!
Here is what I was quoted:
"Jim,
Hey bud--just wanted to let you know we got a price set up for a full
tune on the HHR. Installed, it'll run $500.00 and that includes our time
between loading it in and testing the car with you. Down pipes (hot side of
the turbo leading to exhaust) run around $300 (maybe more, maybe less)
depending on complexity. Like I said, though, you might also want to look
at the actual intake before you modify the down-pipe. The B&M short-throw,
if you provide it, would be a basic labor rate of $50/hr for the install;
shouldn't take long at all.
