I think a cowling is much better looking. Ram air doesn't look good on an HHR

My main issue with that SS is the aftermarket grille. I can't beleave no one has said anything about the gap. You can see the radiator between the bottom of the grill and the center section of the bumper!

I was being polite!

The grill is so bad the gap is the good part.

Yup, that grille makes that SS look like a Damn Durango!!! Not nice at all, well at least I'd never do that to my baby (and I'm a recent Mopar convert!)

Hey, maybe that owner wanted to have something different. On the other hand, owning an HHR SS is something different anyway. The only one I see on a monthly basis around my neck of the woods is MINE!

I think that GM Perf Div did a good job at making this normal family hauler into a beast, in the same traditional way that they did with the mild mannered family Nova's and Chevelle's in the 60's and 70's. Those compacts and mid sized family sedans were turned into powerful icons through the SS process.

I wouldn't change the appearance of my 21st Century SS for the world. Tradition must be preserved.

I want a Cobalt SS wing on top of my HHR!

And yes, that grill is hideous.

I've got the only GTO ever with functional scoops. Bra optional.
