Its gonna be on the gauge cus at least on the stock sensors you cant do that and if he is seeing 28psi the turbo will scream FU and jump out soon. Real soon

Well, I know that with the Trifecia tune I have, it will hold 24lbs. longer than 3 seconds. I've held it at least 5 seconds[maybe 6] until I ran out of room, and I was going well over 100 mph, three times.
Not sure about 28 lbs., but 24 will hold as long as you dare[at least mine does].

Nope, the GMS 1 will also let you go above the boost limit, if you desire. I currently run 24 psi max boost and it will boost that wot till I let off.

Trifecta and HPT both found a way to work around the factory boost limit without you having to have the GMS 1 sensors.

My turbo will never have a chance to scream FU because sitting in my garage is the NEW DEJON!!! 430hp(engine) Mitsubishi - Forced Performance FP 68HTA Kit for HHR SS that is moments from being installed.

Trifecta will also be handling tuning on this kit and the funny thing is that Dave (at Dejon) who fabricated this kit and sells HP Tuner recommended that I go with Trifecta for tuning the same way he has on his car. That should let you know that Tom and Vince are on top of the game when it comes to tuning our engines.

Vince @ Trifecta is great, I was having issues unrelated to the tune and after sending him Data Logs that I attained with the Trifecta software he was able to guide me to the problem. I had installed all of my piping and a K&N intake system and after reading the logs he told me that something on the piping or intake was leaking. I checked it all out and found my filter was loose and after tightening I was running hard with no more issues. Trifecta spent two days holding my hand till it was all resolved.

Hmm....from what I remember reading, the go fast guys didn't run into any mechanical problems till they hit over 700 hp...now, thats just the bottom end, and it was the piston pins galling up...somewheres in the 400+ range they had to ring the cylinders to hold the boost pressures....

Bah, you beat me to it. I had inquired about the new turbo kit on the "other" forum when he announced the release and if Trifecta could tune it. Really the only thing I was waiting for were dyno results, I didn't want to be the guinea pig, so thank you in those regards.

Sure have man, but all those were Trifecta and HPT, only 1 was a GMS1 tune on a HHR SS. As far as I'm concerned the HHR SS one is hear say, because no one with a HHR SS has come forward to claim it. Its like I know a friend, that knew a friend type of thing.

Anyways for now I have a GMS1 tune, so warranty will cover everything.

Like I've said many times if the dual/stealth tune would have been tested in the field at the time I got the GMS1 I definitely would have gotten the Trifecta over the GMS1.
