If not, why does GM feel that the new sensors are necessary?

Also, sounds like power adders like exhaust or IC/piping really don't make a difference in power output? Am I missing something?
exhaust adds like 5 whp If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't get the GM stage. I would've just went with the Trifecta dual/stealth tune, (it had just came out when I got my GM tune and no one was really sure if it worked or not at the dealer).

esmarkey: You got it backwards. Tune is on when Cruise button is not ON. Push cruise control button to turn stock tune back on.
If you leave cruise control button ON, it will stay back on ,every time you drive the car. When you get the urge, "the need for speed" you turn Cruise control off. Is that clearer now? "Moon"

The Trifecta Tune is installed in Vinces HHR SS 5sp without the stage kit and is set on the OEM sensors. That tune alone will get you the results of the 315 HP. Just remember you will have to upgrade your clutch to use the Higher HP tunes, I remember Gmando has upgraded his clutch or mentioned that to me.

TRIFECTA
How long does the boost hold @28, the reason I ask is I thought the ECM had a saftey net of no more than 25psi for any longer than 3 seconds. I may be wrong, but I tought this saftey feature was in effect regardless of tune, or tunes. Also, the 28psi was that registered on the dyno or guage?

-Tom, sorry to keep asking ??'s but, I'm debating adding the Trifecta Tune over my GMPT, and won't purchase till I feel comfy.

The dyno registered 28 psi. I always kind of see my gauge hit 25 or so, but when you have all that power blasting with torque steer, wheel spin and gears that you're flying through you don't have time to look at anything as you try to keep the little beast on the road.

Tom, sisnce there have been dyno runs with the tune(s), would it be possible scan in some of the charts so we can see the HP/Torque curves?
