See mid-page at clicky link ... available August '08. Tomorrow is October. Mine (and a few others) was especially acute for this part as our cars were sitting at dealerships broken down due to a factory defective part and replacement parts weren't available. Had the above linked part been available, I could have had my cake and eaten it too. Instead, I waited (fortunately, not as long as others) for the dealer to replace the factory defective part with another factory defective part that hasn't yet broken in the known bad place. When it does, It'll be another call to GM Roadside Asistance to have my car hauled to the dealer, where they can replace the factory defective part with another factory defective part... or... someone can offer the parts they've been teasing us about and we can replace the factory defective part with something that (hopefully) won't break so easily.

I have been in private contact with 2 vendors about IC piping (not the one linked above) who sound ready to ship. I'll know more this week... and will likely have parts headed my way.

What happens to these numbers when the tune is added?
That is quite a bit for just a cat back system. some people didn't see that on the LS1's in TQ arena. The stock exhaust isn't all to restrictive if you look at the numbers but Turbos don't need the back pressure like N/A cars.

And the good thing is exhaust will never Void warrenty.

This is true. I didn't notice a huge difference when I put the SLP LM on my LS1, except it sounded amazing! but you are right the TQ and such wasn't impacted the same. I just need to hear a clip of it, and if I like, I'll be ordering!

Like ADM mentioned you will need to turn off the rear 02 or there will be a code thrown. HP tuners I believe is your only option at this time if you want to go with a off road DP. I honestly believe there will be little DP gain if you don't eliminate the cat.

Oh yeah.....The car is pretty loud inside with an aftermarket DP

I know you guys are excited but out of 5000 cars built how many people are gonna modify them? Lest say 15% to be optomistic (750 per year) I hate to say it but there just isn't going to be a ton of excitement except for the smaller shops like ADM/Hahn/Turbo Tech

I would like to say magnaflow would start production today on there cat back but in this economy they are gonna use there equipment to build what sells the best(HHR will not be a contender)

I knew the Hahn tune was retarded exspensive and would be limited so I passed.

I could go with HP tuners and there expandability but I am gonna see what GM offers before I rush a purchase.
