Wait so you're posting numbers that are just a tad higher than what I put out with just the GMTU and exhaust (250hp, 260tq)? Rally, read his sig, says he's tuned by M-Dubs who from what I hear is a Cobalt tuning god though so have him tune you right Rob. You should be putting down 310+ hp at least! You shouldn't have THAT much heat soak w/ a bigger intercooler so I'm confused? Was there a decent sized fan in front of your car while on the dyno??? Ugh, lots of questions!

There is no way in hell that M-Dub would do that to an LNF

Bro, HP isn't limited for us. BYT set my fans to kick on at 190* and they run @ 100%. For auto guys like me, HP can also set torque reduction values in all gears, set up fimer shift points, raise the rev limiter, etc etc.

edit: Ahh so you're tuning it yourself, I see. Check the HPTuner forums, as Nick from BYT has posted a basic step by step process to give you a good, safe "base tune".

oh ok. yea i'm not sure about the fan settings. my tuner doesn't mess with those, i believe because it's not needed. they're suppose to come on at like 208* factory, so you seeing 230* coolant temps is odd. my fan motor just died on me last week, luckily i have a warranty that covered it.

do you have the updated HPT?

I'll check it out but I'll have to work on the tune this weekend and try again. I rent the dyno for so many hours and they had other cars to go on. I will redeem myself don't worry.

i'd suggest doing a road tune and then hitting the dyno to see how much power you're putting down.
