Yea, im looking at a scdyne header as well, only bad thing is the website claims 499.99 for it which is pretty steep, but oh well, ill be the first to say i got one on there for good, lawl.

FYI: They had a few on ebay last week with a buy-it-now at 1/2 that price. Also according to an email I got the price online is for 304 stainless steel.
They have had problems with manufacturing quality in the past so be aware.

ok I am posting a picture of the header that is in the making's I still have to test it and see if there is any thing that needs to change.

If your putting that much time and effort into it, why not make equal length runners?

Exaaaaactly! I was hoping someone else would notice. The #1 & 2 cylinder runners are way to short (*that is the two end runners for newbies). Perhaps your header guy should read a few books on exhaust scavenging.

Not intending to "Bash" - but why go to the trouble of making something if it doesn't work right? A 4-cylinder engine needs proper scavenging more than a V8 does.

ok once again it's a prototype I am working with companies to make it work. I guess my header is kinda like the triple lake pipes just needs to be redone or not used at all...................not trying to bash

No it has good workmanship, just a header with equal length runner will out perform the one you are having made, but the one your having made will work better than the stock manifold.
