custom intake with spectre maf adapter
Hello fellow hhr drivers.
I have an 07 hhr with a 2.4l. I had a question about building a custom intake. I want to pull the old intake out completely and build a new intake with spectre pipes. I know the maf sensor is pickey so I decided to get the spectre maf adapter, didn't feel comfortable cutting the tube off the stock box in case I needed it again (part# 9405). What size insert should I use? I don't want to start throwing check engine codes or have any idling issues. If I use the correct diameter tube I won't have issues with codes will I? I don't want to have to reprogram or reset anything if it can be avoided. I know I will not get any performance out of this I am mainly using this for sound/ cosmetics. Thanks everyone
