That's the balance shaft chain, though. Getting the ignition timing marks to line up, and the balance shaft chain marks also, takes many, many revolutions.
I don't see that it's a link off, and it seems to be tight...
I also found i have less than 1 ohm resistance on the intake cam actuator. The exhaust one is 10.6 (acceptable range is 8 to 13).
The timing is not off, the glare from the sun is masking the other yellow yellow.
Another code I'm getting refers to the fuel being too rich, and one being too lean. Those codes contradict so red means go, green means stop?
(I don't know what happened to my response to thread, so i will re-type and hope it doesn't post double).
So, timing is not off, the picture was bad with the glare in previous photo. Yes we did use an oem timing kit. One thing we are thinking of is the intake actuator. We have less than 1 ohm on it, and then it will spaz out. The exhaust side is 10.6 (acceptable range is 8-13 ohms).
This makes more sense as i am now getting a code of rich fuel mixture, and lean fuel mixture. Which is... Quite contradictory.
You need to read the actual names of the codes; they are fuel TRIM high or low, not system high or low. Next you need to read up on what fuel trim means. Then you need to read up on what types of code you are reading; current, stored, historical.
