Quick Oil Change Valve
you must have superhuman powers, I snugged mine up pretty damn tight and have had to remove it once and put it back in again tightening it very tight and no issues. Maybe you got a defect, it happens to the best of us.
On my HHR, that I've had for a year, as of last week. I change the oil ever 6 months. As I only have 5,111 miles on it. So I drag out the floor jack and change my HHR and the wifes Cavalier. That gives me a chance to look at the bottom of the car. Does anyone know where I can get a fancy oil cap, with Royal Purple logo on it. Thanks.
Just wanted to say that if you are concerned about road junk hitting the quick drain valve and opening it, there is a solution. This valve F-107 is sold on many sites but on www.qwikvalve.com which has it for $22.95 they say you can put a 5/8" hose clip over the handle area and this will keep it in the locked position at all times. Hose clamp pliers are the best to install or remove these clips but regular one work also but not as good. There is a picture on their site showing this.
